Dana Vincent is a singer/songwriter based in New York City. She grew up in the San Diego sunshine, where she thrived at performing arts schools. She took any chance to perform, from musicals with local theatre groups to big-name regional theatres, including the Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse. Dana graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in musical theatre, and launched her artistic career in NYC.

In 2014, she teamed up with musicians Danny Weller, Noel Carey, Max Sangerman, and Adrian Aiello, and they began arranging covers--uncovering the jazz roots of Queen and reinterpreting Ella with a pop-rock sensibility--and soon started collaborating on new music. They went in to the studio and recorded 6 songs that became “Superstitious Fool”, a 24-video visual and audio extended player, released in early 2018. The EP boasts all original songs swirling with sounds reminiscent of the golden age of vaudeville and 60’s mod rock. “Superstitious Fool” showcases Dana’s writing style: a joyfully explosive melange of jazz-inspired retro-pop.

Dana is currently creating music with her writing partner and principal Accompanyman Danny Weller and playing gigs in the New York City area. A live Dana Vincent and the Accompanymen performance promises intricate arranging and familiar songs like you’ve never heard them before alongside Dana’s silky vocal pyrotechnics and wry storytelling.
